The first armored vehicles of El Salvador were four Shorland S52's. The S52 is an armored patrol car from series 5. They are still in use by the GDF.
The date when the Brazilian EE-9 and EE-11 vehicles were bought is unknown. In a document was stated that Guyana had 1 EE-9 Cascavel in their inventory in 1995, so I presume at least one of both was bought in or before 1995.
